SARA was established on January 3rd, 2009 and was founded by Wn4q (Bob Herz)sk, N4MOC (Jim Hill)sk, W4TYM (Leon Curry)sk and N4SFU (Ron Hill) 

SARA grew to 33 members in its first year

SARA began a 2 meter net in July of 2009 led by N4MOC (Jim Hill)SK.

SARA became an ARRL Affiliated club in 2010.

SARA Continues to hold weekly nets on 147.000 pl 156.7 every Monday night at 2000.

SARA also has a monthly meeting at Bevricks restaurant in Metter, GA on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 1800 to eat and the meeting there after.
